However, to ensure that we’re delivering nothing short of an outstanding gameplay experience, the team has decided to hold off on the official launch just a bit longer.

Why the Delay?

While several new features—such as leaderboards and lobbies—are already up and running, a few stability issues have popped up that could potentially affect your experience, especially in Arena Mode. Arena crashes have been reported by players, and this issue is central to the delay. The Illuvium team is committed to making sure that every match in Arena Mode runs smoothly and that any progress made by players is secure.

One of the major goals for Season 3 is to integrate players into the Arena through tournaments and leaderboards within the newly enhanced rewards system. For that to happen seamlessly, Arena Mode needs to be stable and crash-free. This minor delay is dedicated to ensuring that the new features and rewards function without any disruptive mid-game interruptions. Releasing only parts of the system in the Overworld now, while Arena Mode is still under work, would take away from the full potential of this season. Thus, the decision was made to synchronize everything for a comprehensive, smooth launch.

When Season 3 launches, players will finally get their hands on exciting rewards, competitive tournaments, and real-time leaderboards—all geared toward enhancing the Illuvium experience and challenging Rangers of every skill level.
